can you post a vid on how to crochet a pidge scarf?
@tjw1963
I am still wkg on this project. I went on google search and put CROCHET NECK WARMER and pulled lots up. The 3rd one down was listed as CROCHET PATTERN CENTRAL. I got a blue backgrnd & the list was huge. The 1st one was ABSOLUTELY EASY NECK WARMER. This is exactly the one I’ve been telling you about. I can’t read directions on making this, but if you could and put this on a video, I would appreciate! Thank you for your patience in this matter. thanks, Bev
@tjw1963 Not exactly, it’s possible that would work, but…saw one that was about a foot long, wide enough to fit around your neck and then some tapering, used instead of a scarf. It was done in a very nice yarn to go with a dress coat, and had a few buttons to fasten instead of pulling over your head. If I could find a picture of one I will email it to you. Thank you so very much for trying to help. Bev
@PolishNana9 When I look at the headband, I can see it worked larger as a pullover neckwarmer. Is that what you had in mind?
@tjw1963 Teresa. do you know which ones I’m talking about? I’ve seen some that you just pull over your head, others have a few buttons. I hope you have the directions, I am so anxious to make them! Thank you again, love working with you! Bev
@PolishNana9 I appreciate the comment. I will keep the neck warmers in mind.
Teresa, I love what your doing with the videos, you have made an old lady very happy by making her loved ones happy with gifts from the heart. I talk to you during the video letting you know I just can’t do it or slow down….my kids think I’ve lost it. Anyway, I’m thinking of gifts for Christmas coming up and would LOVE to make neck warmers….do you have a video on this? Can you make one? Thanks Teresa and I am so very greatful to you. Bev
Teresa, I bought two headbands in Washington, DC over Christmas for my daughters, and they are very narrow on the ends and wider in the middle. It is one long piece and a button on one end and buttonhole on the other. That seems to be the new style. Can you do this? I can send pictures if you want, but I don’t know how. I do like the ribbing in this headband, though. Never knew how to do it before. Thanks.
Can you do a poncho or a skirt dont have to be a big skirt but one to show the technique of making one thanks
You are welcome.
Thank u once again Teresa
LOIELOWRY: im widd u on this. i wanna learn how to make the ones you’re talkin about. i have one, but i can’t find it anywhere anymore. at least now the ones i want. so i thought i’d try to make it myself. of course with the help of ms. TJW
–lemme know
Thanks in advance!
Thank you.
Thank you! I am having so much fun making these headbands in lots of colors and sizes. You are a great teacher, I am falling in love with crocheting again!
You can start it with a chain if you want to.
I tried starting by chaining 15 and doing a regular hdc in each chain and it worked fine until I got to the end and the sewing part came out all wrong. I can see why she begins the way she does.
Teresa, you are the best! can you think of a way to make the back of the headband skinnier than the front? I see these headbands all over the place and they are connected in the back with a button. But the end pieces are skinnier in width than the front of the headband. If you can show us how to do that, you will be the crochet queen of the world! Thanks!
Tersa, could you start this without the HDC like you start it?
I appreciate the comment, thank you.
Thank you . May god Bless you
Never stop plz !
Hi , Teresa , I am making a headband with the v cluster stitch, it looks beautiful I also have a request for you there is a video called ” anillos y prendedores ” it shows some rings and I love them but it doesn’t show how to do it , could you take a look and tell us how to? please .. I really want to make some of those.
I am new to crocheting and you demonstrate extremely well. I have done the V Stich Scarf and now this head band. Love it.

I make alot of baby afghans. I have just learned this stitch…Thank you!!! Now I am wondering how many rows and how wide would a baby headband be. Should I use a g or f hook???
Cant wait for the written instructions. Another good one Teresa!!!
These are so hot up north and it would be so cute with a few small crochet flowers added also. Teresa you are great!!! I also saw one with buttons not done in the round… that would be fun.
