That’s to much work to deal with the carrots. Everything looks good but to much work for a simple family dinner.
they’re probably restaurant grade carrots. the smaller kinds are marketed to home cooks, the larger ones tend to go to restaurants.
Damn we don’t get carrots that big where I live.
