Toothpaste has little silica abrasives, that’s what cleans your teeth, and that’s probably what’s filling in the scratches. The peanut butter would do something to harden it, and the baking soda and soda are acting as a catalyst. You don’t need to get it back to the same material it was made of, you just need to fill the scratches, as the magnetic bits underneath will still show, just not if scratched.
if this dose work, which i dont think it will, i bet you have lost all your data which was on the cd/dvd.

dude everyone shut the fuck up this fucking works. i had a modern warfare 2 disc that didnot work at all. would not even read the game. i tried downloading it to my xbox and it didnot work. so i did this shit and you know what my game is like brand new i downloaded it to my hardrive and im able to play this game all i want.. thanks dude for showing me this. your shit is the only thing that seem to work for me. thanks

FAKED @ 1:46 !!!!!! WATCH THE SODA IN THE PLASTIC CONTAINER!! AFTER HE GOS OFF CAMERA THE STILL FRAME CHANGES AND YOU SEE THE SODA HAS MOVED! he cut the empty footage when he was switching the scratched cd to the unscratched one.
