all the technical terms like aligning, positioning, funnels… just got me dizzy
@aceofspade99 For short flights like shuttle missions they usually don’t. Spacecraft are very clean, and the lack of gravity puts less stress on your muscles, which means less sweating.
Long-term stays in space, like ISS expeditions, basically have waterless shampoo and something like a hand wipe for the body.

@Retcrow Well, since you asked… Peristalsis – the rhythmic contractions of the muscles involved – doesn’t require gravity. Think of squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. (Sorry if this makes brushing your teeth a bit odd until you forget this conversation.)

I could think of lot’s of funny dirty coments on the astronaut’s using the pee hose but i’m sure all of them would be removed. “he he he”
@2cool0 He said in 4:44! Women pee using one of the 3 funnels, according to your “anatomy” a.k.a. pussy. You have to press it against the “anatomy” and it has the “vents” wich are little holes on the side, so it doesn’t suck you through the toilet thing, and to pull some air with the pee into the machine, since its based on air sucking! Check them out trying to hold the laugh when it comes to that part, it’s funny as hell!
